Dr. David Jones is a native of Macon, Georgia. He received his bachelor degree cum laude in Biology at Mercer University and his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. He completed his pediatric residency and his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Emory University Egleston Hospital for Children. Dr. Jones is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones has been practicing Pediatric Cardiology for over 20 years. He is well-rounded in all aspects of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones is the founder of Georgia Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones is a proud father and grandfather who enjoys spending his free time with his family. He is a former college basketball player at Mercer University and an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.

Dr. Anne Tedga was born and raised in Cameroon, Central Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and obtained her MD from the American University of the Caribbean with Honors.

She worked as a junior physician in a poorly resourced pediatric ED back in her home country where the impact of health disparities became meaningful to her. She recognized deeply seated social health determinants that adversely affected patient outcomes, and this resonated with her. Instinctively, she gravitated towards the vulnerable congenital heart disease population that was disproportionately underserved, becoming an advocate for them.

She moved back to the US and completed her Pediatric residency at Michigan State University where she founded the Peer Mentorship program to address physician burnout and socio-educational disparities affecting trainees of minorities. She then completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at LSU New Orleans. She is highly passionate in the development of strategies to address health disparities surrounding prompt diagnosis and management of these high-risk patients. At Georgia Pediatric Cardiology, she hopes to impact children with heart disease both locally and globally.

In her spare time, Dr. Tedga loves to travel, dance, explore restaurants in Atlanta and spend time with her family. She is also collaborating with like-minded organizations to help children with heart defects abroad get life-saving corrective surgeries.
